COMMUNITY

In 2019, the Swarm Football Team won the Downtown Supporter Award, by the Downtown Main Street program, when we were in Chillicothe.

Since 2017, the Swarm Football Program has participated in many efforts to support local charities and initiatives, as a way to help build a stronger society.  Prior to the Covid pandemic, and before the move to St. Joseph, the Swarm has participated annually in the Healthy Kids Day event at the YMCA, downtown clean-ups and the chamber’s “Piccadilly” fundraiser event, in Chillicothe.

The program has also participated in the Bishop Hogan, Dinner Auction fundraiser, the Sliced Bread Day Parade, the Holiday Parade and the Eagles summer Fly-in event, just to name a few!

Now in St. Joseph, the Swarm Football Team has already begun to enjoy opportunities to serve.  In 2022, the Swarm has participated in a Clean-up for the Noyes Home for Children, led the Chiefs Flag Football program for the St. Joseph YMCA, hosted the first Annual St. Joseph Charities Holiday Bowl and provided volunteer support for the Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run, this Thanksgiving.

It is the goal of the Swarm Football Program to have a positive impact on the community that supports us and teach our young adult athletes exactly how we can make an impact.
